Technical information about soft compensators

Fabric and soft compensators are used to compensate axial, angular and lateral thermal expansions as well as vibrations and to avoid structure-borne sound transmissions.
Due to the high flexibility of the fabric, it is also possible to compensate for overlapping movements.

Our materials

Fabric compensators consist of one or more layers, depending on the medium, temperature range and pressure.
We use according to requirement
  • high-quality thermo-E glass fabric with different coatings as outer support layers
  • Aluminum coated fabrics as convection layers
  • PTFE coated fabric with or without graphite control as a sealing layer
  • at higher temperatures insulating layers of silicate thermo fabrics with different temperature resistant equipment
  • EPDM-coated fabric for high mechanical requirements or outdoors
